2015 EIIS Windfarm Investment Opportunities

HLB MCKEOGH GALLAGHER RYAN ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF THE TULLABRACK WINDFARM EIIS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY AND THE KILBEREHERT WINDFARM EIIS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY. 

Following our very successful fundraising in 2014 (raising over €2m in EIIS investment for Tullabrack Windfarm) we have two EIIS windfarm opportunities for prospective investors looking to secure up to 40% all-income tax relief against their 2015 income.

Both projects have similar terms, offering investors the same tax relief and return (capped at €1.20 per €1 invested).

ABOUT THE PRIVATE PLACINGS 

Both windfarms will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and we expect them both to be fully subscribed.


TULLABRACK WINDFARM

Wind Turbine Tullabrack Windfarm is located outside Kilrush, Co Clare. It is a six-turbine 13.8MW wind farm, with a development cost of circa €21million.

The ground works are complete and the wind turbines are on schedule for commissioning in mid 2016. It has full planning permission and a Gate 3 grid connection offer.

It is being developed by experienced wind farm promoters with over 15 years’ experience and a strong track record, one of whom is currently buying out a previous BES investment at the cap.


KILBEREHERT WINDFARM

Kilberehert WindfarmKilberehert Windfarm is located in the townland of Kilberehert, Freemount, Charleville, County Cork. It is a three-turbine 4.799MW wind farm, with a development cost of circa €11.5million.

The projected date for commissioning the wind turbines is Q3 2016. It has full planning permission, a Gate 3 grid connection offer and the turbine site is owned by the promoter.

Operated by Metro Energy Ltd there is a strong team in place experienced in wind energy, large scale oil and gas, and civil engineering projects with a very positive wind report from independent consultants Garrad Hassan.
